Meagen Burrows’s general transactional practice provides a broad range of legal support to individuals and businesses in many industries, with a primary focus in healthcare. Meagen has represented healthcare clients for the span of her career, with much of that time focused in the areas of regulatory compliance analysis (including the Stark law and the Anti-Kickback statute) and healthcare services contracting. She is licensed to practice in Oklahoma, Georgia, and Texas.
Meagen’s recent experience includes structuring compliant healthcare partnerships, services arrangements, and other relationships in the healthcare industry; evaluating and coordinating responses to potential healthcare compliance violations; working with clients (both in and outside of healthcare) to launch new businesses; and documenting the purchase or sale of private businesses and assets.
In addition to her general transactional experience, Meagen earned certification by the Society for Human Resources Management in 2019 (SHRM-CP) in support of her years of experience with employment contracting and employment policy development and implementation.
Her recent experience also includes:
- Evaluating and coordinating responses to potential healthcare compliance violations;
- Documenting multi-million dollar commercial lending transactions;
- Working with clients to launch new businesses and providing support for the management of their day-to-day business and corporate legal needs;
- Developing and negotiating master goods and services contracts, construction contracts, software development, licensing, and support services contracts, among many other agreement types; and
- Documenting the purchase and sale of private businesses and assets.
