Madeline M. Cook

Madeline Cook is an associate attorney at GableGotwals, where she was previously a summer associate. Her practice focuses on labor and employment law, advising and representing employers ranging from Fortune 500 companies to startups. She handles litigation, mediation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings involving claims under Title VII, the ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, and state employment laws. She also counsels clients on workplace compliance, employee terminations, hiring practices, employee onboarding, wage and hour issues, workplace investigations, and drafting employment-related agreements, including severance, confidentiality, and employment contracts. In the labor law space, she has advised corporate clients on labor relations strategy in response to regulatory changes and recent court decisions. Beyond her employment law practice, Madeline has experience in general litigation and medical malpractice defense, representing clients in litigation and advisory matters.

While in law school, Madeline served as an editor and board member for the Oklahoma Law Review and published her article, Bringing Down Big Data: A Call for Federal Data Privacy Legislation, with the journal.

Madeline is also an adjunct professor at the University of Tulsa, where she teaches Public Speaking. Madeline is fluent in French.
