GableGotwals Welcomes 12 Summer Associates

GableGotwals is pleased to welcome 12 law students to its Summer Associates Program in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Summer associates complete work assignments that provide them with real-world experience and introduce them to the Firm, our culture, and our people.

Tulsa Summer Associates

Gavin R. Boone
Boone is a 2L at the University of Tulsa College of Law, graduating in December 2023. He is a Student Bar Association delegate, a pupil in the American Inn of Courts, and received the CALI Award for the highest grade in torts and environmental law.
Samuel R. Kiehl
Kiehl is a rising 3L at Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is a torts research assistant at the American Law Institute and the senior notes and comments editor of the Wake Forest Law Review.
Michael A. Carson
Carson is a 2L at the University of Tulsa College of Law. He is a CPA candidate and the business manager for the Tulsa Law Review.
Sean McCalip
McCalip is a 2L at the University of Tulsa College of Law. He is the associate editor of the Tulsa Law Review and the president of the Tulsa Law Golf Club.
Victoria Groves
Groves was a 1L at the University of Tulsa College of Law, and will transfer to the University of Houston Law Center in the fall. She volunteered with the Tulsa County Bar Association Street Law Legal Life Skills Program, empowering high school students with law-related education each week.
Madison Taylor
Taylor is a 1L at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She is the General Counsel for the Student Government Association at the University of Oklahoma and an incoming member of the Oil and Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Journal.
Hillary Hurst
Hurst is a 2L at the University of Tulsa College of Law. She is the Women’s Law Caucus vice president, the executive board director of the University of Tulsa Board of Advocates, and the Editor-in-Chief of the Tulsa Law Review.

Oklahoma City Summer Associates

Trisha E. Bunce
Bunce is a 1L at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She is a section representative of the Federal Bar Association, a member of the Native American Law Student Association, and a volunteer for South Central CASA.
CJ Pollins
Pollins is a 1L at the Oklahoma City University School of Law. He is a first-year representative in the Sports Property Entertainment Law Association and the co-founder Nexxt Up, LLC
Nick Candido
Candido is a 2L at the University of Oklahoma School of Law. He has received American Jurisprudence Award in Torts, Contracts, Brief Writing, and Criminal Law and is the winner of the University of Oklahoma 1L Moot Court Competition. Candido also plays chess competitively.
Stassi Vullo
Vullo is a 2L at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She is a Whitten Burrage Negotiation Competition finalist, 1L student mentor, and received the American Jurisprudence Award in Property Law.
Stephanie Hayes
Hayes is a 2L at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She was awarded best speaker in the OU 1L class Moot Court Competition and William T. Comfort Scholarship Recipient.
