December 19, 2024 | GableGotwals Shareholders Justin Lollman and Chris Thrutchley spoke at the Federal Bar Association’s (FBA) 10th Circuit Year-In-Review.

The FBA hosts the 10th Circuit Year-In-Review to discuss important rulings and legal trends from the past year. The event features a distinguished panel of speakers representing various fields of law. Justin provided updates on criminal law, while Chris delivered updates on employment law.

Justin is the President of the Tenth Circuit Historical Society and the Immediate Past President of the FBA’s Northern/Eastern Oklahoma Chapter. He serves on the Northern District of Oklahoma’s Local Criminal Rules Subcommittee and is a member of the Tenth Circuit Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Appellate Panel, having been selected based on his demonstrated commitment, qualification, and skill in federal criminal appellate practice. He has been recognized as a “Rising Star” in Appellate Law by Super Lawyers and “One to Watch” in Appellate Practice by Best Lawyers.

Before joining the firm, Justin served as a law clerk for the Honorable Kenneth F. Ripple of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Honorable Gregory K. Frizzell of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma.

For nearly 30 years, Chris has counseled employers regarding best labor and employment law practices and has successfully defended employers in labor and employment disputes (arbitration, litigation, administrative proceedings) around the country. As a result, Chris has earned numerous prestigious honors. Highlights include Super Lawyer, Labor & Employment Law; Benchmark Litigation, Labor & Employment Star; AV Preeminent, top rating for Labor & Employment Law; Best Lawyers in America, Labor & Employment Law; and Chambers USA, ranked in Labor & Employment.
